The Deep Learning Indaba 2026 will take place from 2 to 7 August 2026 at Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos, Nigeria.

How to Apply

General Delegate
Deadline: 29 March — Two routes available:

  • Registration Lottery (paid): $350 non-African Industry · $200 African Industry · $200 Faculty · $150 Students. Entry not guaranteed — lottery system used due to high demand.
  • Financial Aid: No registration fee. Travel and accommodation grants available but competitive. Open to anyone unable to cover costs, regardless of background.

Virtual Indaba
Opening soon — Online access to watch talks, ask questions, and network with other virtual attendees. Registration fees to be announced.

Workshops
Deadline: 20 March — Submit a proposal to host a workshop at the Deep Learning Indaba.

Tutorials
Deadline: 8 March — Submit a proposal to be a speaker at a tutorial or skills session.

African Datasets
Deadline: 20 March — Submit your dataset and present it to the Indaba community.

African Startups
Deadline: 20 March — Submit your startup and present your work to the Indaba community.

Publications
Deadline: 15 April — Submit your paper to the Indaba Publications track and stand a chance to be invited to present your work at the Indaba.
